--After School Program helps at-risk children

The Center offers an after school program that incorporates education, enrichment and recreation into a program that provides safe and supervised activities to area youth that will encourage positive life choices.

All youth need and deserve a safe place to be after school with caring, responsible adults and engaging activities that connect the youth to his/her family, school and community.

The Salem Community Activities Center After School Program relies on volunteers.  These mentors and tutors volunteer their time to work with the students on many levels.  This program is funded by active solicitation of grants and donations.
